Our History
Masjid-e-Madani was established with a vision to serve as a spiritual, educational, and community hub for Muslims in the region. Rooted in the principles of faith and service, it was founded under A1 American Community Service Inc. to provide a place for worship, learning, and support for all.
MASJID-E-MADANI is formed under the name of the Incorporation known as A1 AMERICAN COMMUNITY SERVICE INC.
The purpose is to arrange and hold congregational prayers for Muslims and for the propagation of Islamic education among all persons, irrespective of their gender, age, faith, creed, color, or belief; establish religious educational facilities, library, marriage ceremonies, funeral service arrangements in accordance to Islamic Belief and consistent with the Law of the land.
In 2017, our community in Buffalo took a significant step towards fostering a stronger and more connected Muslim community by purchasing a property with the vision of transforming it into a mosque. This vision became a reality in 2018 when the property was converted into a mosque capable of accommodating around 300 worshippers.
Given the current needs and dynamics of our growing community, there was a pressing demand to establish an evening maktab for boys and adult males. Recognizing this need, the committee has laid out immediate improvement plans to launch the evening maktab first. Alhamdulillah, we currently have around 50 students for evening maktab classes and still growing.
Future plans to extend these educational services to girls and women and the plans for daily madrasas are also in the pipeline.
